We've had an eventful season here at The Permanent Press.
1) Jeff Schnader's debut novel about Columbia University protests during the Vietnam War, The Serpent Papers, was released in hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats. Get your copy of the novel the NY Journal of Books called "multi-sensual and powerful" today!
2) A review by Jay Strafford of The Serpent Papers was published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch! Strafford said of the novel, "Schnader engages the reader in J-Bee’s struggle of conscience with telling detail and emotional impact."
3) Longtime friend of The Permanent Press Joan Baum of Connecticut NPR took a look into TPP's past with of review of Larry Duberstein's 1988 novel, The Handsome Sailor. https://www.wshu.org/podcast/baum-on-books/2022-02-24/book-review-the-handsome-sailor "Try this overlooked novel. It's worth it." We couldn't agree more! Our thanks to Joan, and you can buy Duberstein's novel on our website.
